september wrap-up

hey everyone! another month has gone by, and it’s finally fall (my favorite season).

overview

this month i read a decent number of books—and A LOT of kasie west. i actually ended up reading/re-reading all her books, and she is officially one of my favorite authors! unfortunately, i didn’t get to read as much poetry as i wanted to, although i did read a few poems from all the words are yours.

as for writing, i’ve been chipping away at editing my novel, and i’ll probably be writing some more this month.

reading

p.s. i like you (4.5/5)

the fill-in boyfriend (4.5/5)

on the fence (4/5)

pivot point (4.5/5) (re-read)

split second (4.5/5) (re-read)

the distance between us (4.5/5) (re-read)

the carnelian (3.5/5)

six of crows (4.5/5)

the nerdy and the dirty (3/5)

my favorite books this month were definitely p.s. i like you, which was absolutely adorable, and six of crows, which was stunning in every way possible. i definitely need to get my hands on crooked kingdom soon, as well as empire of storms!

haul

i didn’t buy any books this month, but i did receive a book from this month’s owlcrate! here’s a sneak peek of my unboxing, which i’ll probably be posting in a week. this six of crows inspired bookmark is so beautiful, and i loved using it while reading the book!

next month

in october, i definitely plan to read and write more. i want to get through more of my tbr, but i also want to finish the first round of edits for my novel. school’s been okay so far, so i’m hoping it’ll stay that way!

thanks for reading!
